Corporations and Cost Centers
EspritLMS has a multi-level
structure that gives you powerful flexibility in terms of
segregating learners into meaningful groups. This
structure also allows you to provide your users with varying
levels of administrative functionality.
Within your LMS you have the ability
to set up corporations and those corporations can have an
unlimited number of cost centers. (The standard LMS
comes with one corporation and two cost centers.
Additional corporations and cost centers can be added for an
additional monthly fee.)
At the corporation level you can
set up corporate administrators who are then able to set up
cost centers. Cost center administrators can then be
set up to administer learner activity in their assigned cost
centers. We have found that our QualityTrainingPortal
customers really like this functionality because it allows
the corporate administrator to maintain overall control of
their web-based training without being a tremendous
administrative burden.

You will want to give careful
consideration to how you will be setting up your LMS.
In addition to cost considerations (although the pricing for
additional corporations and costs centers is very
reasonable) you will also want to think about how you can
best segregate your learners so that administration is easy
and record keeping/credit tracking is meaningful. We
